Iranian film ‘Local Anesthesia’ releases poster

Iranian feature ‘Local anesthesia’, directed by Hossein Mahkam, has released its official poster.

Produced by Habib Rezei, the film will go on screen in Iran’s cinemas from today, September 9.

The poster is designed by Mahan Khoshi.

A short synopsis to the film reads, “Jalal, an unproductive writer who is under mental pressure, finds out about a change in his sister’s life. The change was brought to Mary’s life by a man named Shahrokh. Discovering this fact, Jalal leaves the house and spends the night with his guitarist friend Bahman and a strange taxi driver named Naser. The common feature among the three of them is that they are in a state of anesthesia. While everything seems calm, some strange events are on the way”.

The cast of the film includes Habib Rezaei, Baran Kosari, Parsa Pirouzfar, Hassan Majouni, and Soheil Mostajabian.
